Preservation activities include cataloging, restoring, exhibiting, and maintaining
artifacts, photos and documents. Model railroading involves constructing,
operating, and maintaining our scale model train layout in one of our restored cars.
The museum maintains and operates a small station that has been restored to
the 1940s. We also plan to sponsor various events.
Membership is open to everyone. Membership includes an e-newsletter, monthly
copies of our magazine "Waycar Restored", the chance to help restore vintage
rail equipment, and to join a unique group of people dedicated to remembering
"the way railroading should be".
If you would like to become a member simply contact us or pay the appropriate
membership level indicated below by clicking on the "Buy Now" link. We will send
you a letter confirming your membership. The money you use to pay for your
membership fees will be used to restore various equipment at the museum. We
hope to see you at the station!
