The City Point Central Railroad and Museum was formed in 2005 for
the purpose of rescuing historic equipment from the Belfast &
Moosehead Lake Railroad and Maine Central Railroad. With some of
this equipment now in the hands of the City Point Central Railroad &
Museum we have commenced efforts to preserve it.

The City Point Central Railroad and Museum is dedicated to the
preservation and interpretation of railroad artifacts large and small,
especially those in immediate danger. We desire to further the public
understanding of railroad history and its impact upon society. Our
mission shall be to Preserve and Interpret the History of Railroading in
Maine.

Admission to the Museum is Free.
